Tina Bodkins, MA, LCSW | Director of Quality

Tina Bodkins is the Director of Quality for Magellan of Virginia. In this role, Tina is responsible for oversight of quality processes and partnering with other departments to ensure that quality expectations, goals and needs are met. Additional areas of oversight include the reconsideration, appeals and grievance processes.
Tina has been with Magellan Quality for over 15 years. Prior to her current role, she was the Manager of Quality and Accreditations for the Employer/Commercial line of business for several years. Tina joined Magellan in July 1996 and originally worked as a Care Manager before joining the Quality team as a Clinical Quality Reviewer. She has experience in a variety of quality areas including URAC and NCQA accreditation. Tina received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology from Southern Illinois University. Before Magellan, she worked with children and adolescents in a residential treatment center which gave her meaningful experience in providing support for youths who were having challenging times in their lives. She has also worked with adults and children in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
